^ that was me just now

its the kind of test you want to pull off at like 4am to make sure you get the cleanest times when theres no competition for bandwidth out in the great electronic jungle.

yeah, I was thinking that. I did the "compare it to other rogers people" and I was the 3rd highest :headbang:

I was in the midpoint of about 2000 others. There was one joker who pulled an 8.6 megabit speed. I mean... holy shit... where was he?... right inside the telephone switchbox building itself? Thats more juice than some colleges out there.

I'll have to wait a few minutes for this Kazaa download to finish before I can run a test with optimal results. Dang. :(

The tests don't work for me at all, and I'm on the other side of the world which makes quite a difference. Maximum speed I got at home was 70 down and 16 up, at work it's 600 down and 400 up (all in KB/sec)...

So, tell me, if you don't mind, what do you pay for such a connection? It's around $35 a month for my home-connection, the only downside is that I have a 10 GB/2 months limit, but the limit-less provider isn't available where I live... 200 meters down the road it is . Most providers here have a limit, even the highspeed connection here at work has a maximum of 5 GB/month before you gotta pay extra
