Canadian government admits...

Yeah...we've also got ships in the area too...but the majority of our troops are part of an exchange program. They're not supposed to actually be shooting at people.

The question is: What will the Canadian Govt do if a Canadian soldier gets shot, wounded, killed or...gets taken as a POW?
 
Pretty much the same thing that happens with all warriors. Either he will be brought home walking, carried, or boxed. Lauded as a reluctant hero. Negotiated for if captured. The general midset and action will stay the course. The only thing that will change it is if they carve him up, torture, defile, and parade the body. Such things usually angry up the blood and provoke a reaction.
 
I'm not so sure about that...I think that Chretien might just HAVE to do a major turnaround if a cannuck gets killed.

If he gets tortured/paraded etc...I don't think that it'd be very nice at all...especially for the Iraquis.

Canada doesn't have a lot of nukes, or stealth bombers etc...but...like other 'quiet neighbors' that you hear about in horror flicks...you gotta be a bit scared if they flip out.
