remember when homemade mac and cheese was the best? my girls scarf down the box kind but the homemade gets mutinous glances.

Baked, with a layer of cheese and crushed saltines on top.

Served with a big bowl of collard greens, and cornbread. :licklips:

man...that sounds tasty....*takes mental inventory of the cupboard.

They changed the glue on the boxes. I just broke my thumbnail on one popping it open. :(

There is no D in Mac-n-cheese.

1.1 kilo calories daumn ya can't go wrong with that.

I'm headed to the store to try to find this elusive
'presidents choice' stuff.

Why do Canucks get it
and we don't?

Hell I'm still suffering trauma from the discontinuation
sometime in the 70's of chocolate tapioca pudding.

If I find White Cheddar Mac-n-cheese will that qualify?
(*guesses not*)

not.

It's Canadian. It's uppercrust no name.

And in my opinion it's always superior to any brand name stuff.

per 1/3 package serving as prepared with margarine and 2% partly skimmed milk

Calories 417 Cal

3 X 417 = 1251!!!

Roxxor eat the whole thing
Hell Go for it and make it with whole milk and real butter!

I guess you Canucks need the calories to ward off the cold?

Hell, I remember when President's Choice became a store brand at Lucky. Their sodas were pretty decent too. Of course, Albertson's bought out American Stores, and under the terms of the sale they had to sell the Lucky's stores in a lot of areas, including this one. No more President's Choice and no more Lady Lee for us.

I really like the brand. I've never bought anything that wasn't of the highest quality. 2 thumbs up.

They have New Healthy Living Directions on the box now!

ADD 1 tbsp, non-hydrogenated margarine and 1/2 cup skim milk. um... *barf*

*Sits back happily with the KD under 3 tablespoons of butter and homo milk.

I've never used margarine/butter or milk when I've made KD ,if I was eating KD I didn't have the extra money needed for those.
