your not the only one its just that myself gato and ris are all for the death penalty and agree on it and are posting the most. but your never alone scanty. your too beautiful to be.(plus theres always someone to agree with you)

no offence freako but i would ask you find where i have said anyhitng about the death penalty, support for or against.

i have deliberately tried to make no comments on the issue, as i seem to spend enough time in the real world forum as a minority view ;). as it happens i am in opposition of the death penalty.

:)

awww...v. flattered.

It's good that I'm not the only one. People who know who I correspond with, might think I'm biased. But I can say I have a little insight on what it's like being on death row and the type of people who are there.

sorry ris i was thinking of LL i had thought it was your post saying that its times like this that you would like to bring it back so i apologise for getting the names confused i do that sometimes. see scanty? les is against it. as far as i know most of the people on death row are murders and rapists and those two crimes as well as molestation are why im for it although ill admit that many innocent people have died b/c of it which is a good argument against it as well as(although i dont know too much about laws in other countries so if Britian or Canada or Australia or any part of Europe is different please let me knwo) that it violates the eight amendment(which os cruel and unusual punishment and also excessive bail however as far as my knowledge goes is only in the US)

Well, we don't have the death penalty here, which is good. But even then I don't think that they abolished it for the right reasons.

Murder and crimes that are as bad as that are awful, I agree. But I don't think that that is the right reason for capital punishment; because the crimes are awful. It is the principle that bugs me. That fact that people still hang onto what they think is right and wrong...and regardless of how subjective we know human opinion to be...still apply their own heavily-influenced views to a system of judgement that ultimately leads to taking someones life.

's ok freako, perhaps if i had made my position clear rather than dancing around it then there would have been no room for confusion :)
