damn, i should read more US media, in order to believe that crap and score higher

One more quiz question:

1. LL began this thread by publishing an article from an online news source. Name the country of origin for the article.

The majority of people in this country don't read the observer - if you want to look at what affects grass-roots opinion you should check out a paper like the Daily Express, which has the largest circulaton in the country.
I'm kind of fond of the Observer...

here's my quiz,
1. was Luis talking about the british article or about the "correct answers" you posted previously?
2. how many questions will you ask in order to actually say something?

I know that... Which is why I read it too. ;)

I thought you were somewhat right of centre or are you just checkin' out the enemy? ;)

I read The Times from time to time.

i'm just surprised you professed a fondness for it, i'd have thought 'rage inducing bile' would be a better description from your point of the spectrum :D

I like to look at both sides of an arguement. Are there any decent democrat papers online?

You could start with the Washington Post or the New York Post, or for that matter just about any other print paper in the US (aside, maybe, from the Washington Times or the Wall Street Journal). Or you could tune in on the television to ABC, CBS, NBC or CNN. They are good sources of Democratic based information.

Look, um, psssst, I read the Democratic Underground, Communist Party newsletter, The Socialist, and some other stuff too...

eh?

psst...i was surprised you professed a fondness for it, not that you read it or other 'leftie' papers, i know you do that.

I'm rather fond of reading it... Its my favorite British newspaper. Not because I agree or disagree with it, just because its a well written paper in my humble opinion. Baised? Yes, most certainly. But I am still fond of reading it and seeing what you guys think. :p

1. The answers to question 1-8 all came from the article. Yes, the article says that the conservative group in Washington wants to privatize the wells, but the INC obviously has a different agenda. They're not going to give up the oil, and you can bet that the Bush administration doesn't have the balls to make them. If they did, they would already be in Bagdhad with Saddam's head on a spike.

2. Just enough to establish that the person I'm debating with is intelligent enough to read an article and understand what he's reading. Let's face it, if you couldn't even answer questions one and two, how much of the article could you have read and understood?
