Changing the reasons for war once again

Or are you trying to imply that we are going to make this occupation permenant?

How is the US going to be able to leave Iraq? The majority of the population is Muslim and not fond of the US and I can't see this changing . If the US leave, the two main sects suni/shiah (sp) will battle for control and with either in power the US is back to square one with a Terrorist haven. If the US stay, the two factions will join (if only for short term) to try and force them out .Either scenario means the US will need to maintain a significant presence in Iraq.Unlike Germany and Japan once the Leaders were defeated the population followed, the Iraqis aren't going to fall in line in the long term. Once the population realize that all there problems/troubles didn't disappear with Sadam they are more likely to fall back on their religion than convert.Defeating Sadam was easy ,Conquering Centuries of religious following is going to be more difficult.
