Why is it, a female bear, when given a choice, will choose, without fail, to protect her baby & a human mother will wonder, if doing the protective thing, will create a problem?

Probably because bears don't have to deal with the courts and CPS.

That is what I think. No way is she going on her own, but with her Aunt Beth, who is very responsible and with the "I Travel ALone" service, I am more willing to consider it.
