I googled it and apparently it's a printer power adapter.

There's still a lot of people out there that can't/won't pay over 200-300
buck for a comp.
By the time you add a "certified" OS to the works, on paper figuring, then you
have to start looking at cheaper hardware to make up the difference. ;)
