Sadly I doubt the American population would ever take up arms against
the government to oppose economic slavery.

The government takes half of every dollar the average American makes,
at what percentage would the people say enough is enough?
I think there is no limit, witness the Scandinavian countries where
a far higher percentage is taken.

I suppose the world should hope and pray the future totalitarian leaders of America remain benevolent?

America on the other hand is the pre-eminent military and economic power on earth.

Then again a state controlled economy would falter and die
