COMPUTER WON'T START - long repeating beeps

ok.
that pretty much sums it up.
i get no post beep.
i get no video at all.
just long sustained beeps!

wtf. i have built and worked on sooooo
many systems. why is this one giving me
all this trouble??????
as some of you know already, i was having
usb printer and serial port issues with
this system. i was considering reinstalling
winMe to see if that would rectify the issues
or just switching to windowsXP.
i installed kazaa 2.5 to download winXP
if i decided to go that route.
it kept running that altavista p2p at startup
and all kinds of ads, so i removed it from
msconfig. as soon as i did that i got
"program not responding" dialog box
so i restarted and thats when i got
NOTHING!!! wtf?!?!?
wont boot with boot disk either.

mobo = Leadtek WinFast K7NCR18D

maybe i never should have come out of retirement

sounds like your ram has died..
