I can really picture you doing that. It must be frustrating to self destruct in an election where the Dem shouldn't have had a chance.
 
Seven Democratic Hardin County elected officials announced Wednesday they will become Republicans.

Sheriff Ed Cain, who confirmed his switch earlier this week, was joined at Wednesday's formal announcement by County Judge Billy Caraway, Precinct 4 Commissioner Bobby Franklin, County Attorney Rebecca Walton, Precinct 5 Constable Wayne McDaniel, Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Kent Walker and Precinct 5 Justice of the Peace Butch Cummings.

No longer Democrats

If you really want to look at the numbers, consider the count was

Owens 49%

Hoffman 45%

Scozzafava 6%


The fact remains that Owens won with less than 50% of the vote, which means that a majority of voters did not want a democrat congressman:

Owens 49% Other 51%

Fact is the right screwed up and a Dem who shouldn't have a chance won in a highly republican district.
