Damn you pop bottle!!!

I have a basement bedroom, and everytime I leave a bottle of pop (soda, coke) down here, the next day the cap like sucks to the bottle and it's permanently stuck and won't open. It's like there was some kind of vacuum in the bottle and the lid got sucked on there real good.

Anybody have a clue to why it does this? It doesn't happen to the pop bottles upstairs... ?(

The only way to get the pop out is to take a knife and stab holes in the bottle.

The air in the bottle gets cold and shrinks. Warm the bottle in yor hands and the cap will come off.

It's not that I'm weak, it's that the cap is seriously stuck on there. Not even pliers can remove it.

I guess I could warm the bottle up, but it's much more fun to stab a hole in it and drain the fluids, and that's what I'll do to anyone who says I have girlie arms in the future.
