Different ...

Do you say "different than" or "different from?" I have always heard the former, but recently I noticed someone say "different from."

Use them both dependant on circumstances. Generally if I'm talking about things, I'll use "different from" and concepts are "different than." I have no idea where I got this from or if it's correct, but it is my usage.

I say "different from" but then again I was raised by Newfies (and am one myself) so my grammer leaves a lot to be desired.

But in my case both means the same thing and in your case it means opposite things.

yeah, i kind of use them like chcr said.

And about either and neither, to say "me too" in an affirmative possesion/circumstance i use either, and to deny possesion/circumstance i use neither. Don't know if that made sense at all :D
