Do you deserve to live in the US?

i got 7, getting stuff about supreme court vertices and who would be the 49th state if everyone else died wrong :tardbang:

10/11...Damn WWII Allies.

China, BTW, was not officially an ally until after 1942...

gato, does the idea that the us made a few bucks off us before they joined make a noise?

I can also remember from a history class that the UK was flying P-38 Lightnings before 1940...

we were also flying a lot of older us stuff in 39-40 that cost us huge amounts of gold, way above their true value.

I hope you're not getting angry, ris. It's hard to tell from your posting style. ;)

The point I was trying to make was that the US was supporting France, Britain, Russia, and even Poland through arms sales, etc for approximately 3 years before we actually joined the war. The only reason we didn't beforehand was because of political pressure at home to remain neutral...

i'm not even slightly angry :)

i'm well aware of the us selling us arms during the years preceeding its entry into the war. i am also aware that in some instances a healthy profit was garnered.

Perhaps some of that was revenge for us having to rebuild Washington, D.C. after the war of 1812. :p
