Sorry i missed most of this., I was keeping up with the other thread.
For the record I do use the ignore feature at other boards where im not an admin.
There are some members there i just dont care what information they want to share.
But then i also use the no sigs, no avs, so it speeds up my surfing.

Maybe I missed somebody else saying this, but what is the point of an ignore button? Either you read the post, or you scroll past it. And if you ignore one person and someone you haven't ignored posts a reply to that post you may end up missing the whole point of the conversation and if you really don't care about the point of the conversation then just don't go into that thread.

Then again, having an ignore button doesn't mean you have to use it, i just think it's a silly idea.
 
And a shit load of work for fury having to install it, uninstall it when upgrading, and a bunch of other stuff. I don't really see the point if you could just scroll past the post of the person you'd like to ignore. :confuse3:
