Got one of those too. That and a mother-in-law plant that sits on the fridge til it's almost dead, then someone comes along and dumps some coffee or tea in it, makes the damn thing live for another four years or so. I swear I have seen that thing almost completely black and it will still come back with half a cup of coffee.
I'd guess the plant... the mother-in-law probably sits on the couch, watching Wheel of Fortune, until it's almost dead, then perks back up with coffee.
