Driving question

North Carolina:

Uturns at an intersection are OK unless otherwise marked

Right on Red ok, after complete stop

Here's the goofy one no one ever thinks about.... LEFT ON RED ONTO A ONE WAY STREET... OK after complete stop.

This applies often downtown since there's so many major one way streets there. The regular city drivers go nuts if they're behind someone who doesn't realize that a left on red is legal there and it's clear. U-turns here are illegal unless they're marked as OK such as on divided roads.

I have a comedy thing on my computer (it's a newfie comedy thing) that talks about the lights in Quebec. I'll post it when I go home. It is amusing!

What about overtaking on the inside? Can you guys do that?

When I went to Oz, they overtake on the inside all the time and it is just plain WEIRD.

The inside lane is the passing lane here (Ontario). The outside lane is the driving lane. We drive in both though cause you don't get in trouble for it.
