dumb girlie question

This is a Hyundai, had it for about three years now, one of the huge 17" models, I think it's a DeluxeScan 17B+ is the model.

Well now that all depends on who "him" is, doesn't it?
 
I always hear it at home. Even sometimes when turning on light bulbs. :s Hate it. no one else hears it, though. :(
