There is also a red streak they will put in a part in their hair. I had it explained to me by one woman that it is a very important part of her daily routine, as she prays while she does it for her husbands good fortune. Had to attend a cultural diversity training after the company got bought by this Indian company, I was really not looking forward to it, but came away from it very impressed. Number one, they didn't put it on to tell us how to behave as much as explain their behavior, and ask that we be understanding towards them. And to not be afraid to ask questions if they were doing something that we didn't understand.
