Anything under 6.9 is childs play these days. *sadly sends condolences to teh family of the two who died*
 
I've never been *awake* in an earthquake. My brother lives in Sunnyvale, near SF. I keep meaning to give him a call and see if all's well on his end.
 
I made mention of this i9n the shoutbox, and posted a bit on this at Cato's place. The hardest-hit town was Paso Robles, CA... and I grew up in Paso Robles, CA. My whole family pulled through OK, but it will be very weird never seeing the clock tower building with Pan Jewelers in it anymore. The building you all saw on the news that collapsed is the one I speak of. That was the most famous building in town.
