Illinois 01 got a brand new Republican as representative.
Maryland 07 got a brand new Republican as representative.
Texas 01 got a brand new Republican as representative.

New Hampshire got a brand new Republican as governor.

Pennsylvania got a brand new Democrat as governor. :(

Very interesting indeed.

Its an off year. Reps are elected every 2 years. Senators every 6. The Senatorial elections are broken into 1/3rds to coincide with the Rep elections. This election is for all Reps, 1/3 of Senators, and half of all state governors.
