i'd think in your line of work you woulda seen plenty of similar "what the fuck were they thinking?" type of cases.

it's truly amazing to me how many women stick with shithead men...
 
Oh I see it every day. It still baffles me. The one that really gets me is January. Seeing all these lowlife scum pawning their kids' Christmas gifts at the pawn shop at the bottom of the hill so they can pay their court payments and stay out of jail another month. But the battered woman who won't leave the SOB...yeah, it sickens me. I learned long ago to stop feeling sorry for them though. They're getting what they ask for after all.
 
Damn near every couple deserves each other. Some learn, some adapt & some just take it.
