Explosion at NY oil refinery

Any advice on how to take and plant Rhodie clippings? There's an outside chance Rob might want some off my plants out front.

Found this:

Most rhododendrons are now grown from tissue culture plantlets or from cuttings. Cuttings are usually rooted in August to October, in peat moss and sand or peat moss and perlite, under mist with bottom heat and with the use of root inducing hormones.

I have one on my property too but never really took a liking to them. It appears getting the cutting to root might be a little more complicated than just sticking it in the ground. If you post a thread to www.gardenweb.com, I'm sure they'll give you advice. :)
