What about the hit on the knees? My friend says it was a deliberate attempt to maim.

He had some pretty harsh things to say about Ohio in general. I'm surprised he was pulling so hard for Miami, because he's an FSU fan...
 
The hit was low and fast ... but to the face with the runner fully looking at him. It was borderline to me. He just tried to hop it like any good runner would and just got nailed perfectly.
