A Moroccan student was convicted Wednesday of more than 3,000 counts of accessory to murder in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States.

Mounir el Motassadeq, 28, was found guilty by the Hamburg state court of membership in a terrorist organization that organized logistics for the al-Qaida cell that included lead hijacker Mohamed Atta and two other suicide pilots.

In addition to the 3,000-plus counts of accessory to murder, he was convicted of five counts of attempted murder and bodily injury.

15 years? That's justice? Americans can get that under suspicion alone.

No shit, unless that is 15 years in a rat infested hole in the ground, I wouldn't call that justice at all.

Unfortunately that's what passes for justice in Europe. 15 years is supposedly a "life" sentence. Life should mean life.

I've noticed that from watching all those police videos on tv. In Europe you steal a car run from cops for an hour and smash into someone you get three years. In the US it's 7 years for felony evasion alone and those guys usually get 10-20.
