I think it's interesting how the two best teams in the Big Ten were absolutely pasted by the Pac-10 and the SEC. Not even close.
the thing with Boise State's schedule... they likely have the same problem as Fresno State in that more powerful schools simply will not agree to play them. Fresno has seen many a BCS-conference team either not agree to play them at all, or agree and then buy out of the contract no matter what the cost. There's nothing a school can do about the strength of the other teams in its conference. Additionally, the games are agreed upon years in advance, and it's impossible to know now how good teams will be for the 2012 return game.
