for rpgers and larpers

live action role play is when you make a character and physically act it out. pen/paper rpgs are estentially the same but not as much moving more descriptions of what you do

IE my character dismounts his horse and kneels before the king.

LARP would be where you go to whoever is running the game(usually called GameMaster or Gm but some systems define it differently) and kneel down.

LARP= Live Action Role Play

Ok, now what is Live Action Role Play?

Cybersex.

I read the cybersex thing on Vortex's website...
I think I will be scarred for life...
So in LARP you actually act out the game?
My brother did that kind os stuff with his friends, they would act out Zelda.

I used to Live Action Role Play when I was a kid. Back then we called it playing Cowboys and Indians. :p

"I got you!"

"No, you didn't! You missed by a mile!"

yea only LARP has rules in the books depending upon what you play it has a set of rules for that but thats basically it ards. Altron zelda kicks ass!

I would have the Wind Power. I had a pole that was half burned and I would spin it aorund to make a big wind and blow everyone away!
Then we would play James Bond 007, and I had a piece of wood with a cut in it so it looked like a submachien gun (That was back when I didn't even know what a submachine gun was :eek:)
After that we would play Knights, and I had a sword and some bungee cords...
*nostalgic*
