Ok. I'll keep it on the normal amount of goofy. Just don't expect me to act unnaturally solemn.

She did tell me (and several other people) about how her boyfriend mistreated her. I kinda took it as her saying "I'm available, baby!".

I think it's going well, but I don't want to try to go too fast and fuck it all up.

Not to be the one to rain on someone's parade, but hot 23 year olds generally aren't interested in dating/boinking 17 year olds. Is she at college/university? If so, then going out with someone from high school would probably be too weird for her.
 
She's not at college. It's actually kinda cool that we're coworkers, because that puts us in the same boat.
