Germany is messed up

no, i can put more trust in the bbc because in most, if not every article they refer to both sides of the issue. they have talking points with discussive themes, not clear propaganda directed articles.

all written sources have bias, it is the degree of bias and awareness of that degree that is important. in any article i look for balance, information from both directions. the bbc has rarely failed in that.

Lets face it. There is a double bias. The writers perspective, and the readers perspective. The ONLY person in the world that could consider anything spoken or written to be neutral and evenhanded is the original author... period.

naturally both reader and writer believe their own neutrality, it is why ensuring sources are as accurate and even as possible is vital. the least that can be done is to have information from all sides, the use of counterpoint writing is also useful.

BERLIN (Reuters) - German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder apologized to President Bush on Friday for the offence caused by a report that his justice minister had compared Bush's methods to Hitler's.
