BAGHDAD, Iraq - A militant group said Wednesday it had taken two Kenyans, three Indians and an Egyptian hostage and would behead them if their countries did not announce their readiness to withdraw their troops from Iraq (news - web sites) immediately.

None of those countries are part of the 160,000-member U.S.-led coalition force in the country.

When dealing with terrorists, you can try to negotiate, but don't give in.

This is going to keep happening for quite a while, me thinks...even if the Filipines hadn't pulled out their troops.

The statement came a day after militants released Filipino hostage Angelo dela Cruz after his country gave in to their demand and pulled its 51-member force out of Iraq. That pullout led to fears militants would try to take more hostages.

So far, the only reason that the fanatical fringe of the Arab world hates us is because we support the right of Israel to exist. We stood by, and let things alone for over 30 years, and now we're contributing to the climate...You'll have to come up with something better than that, shnookums.
