Guess we need to stock up

Do you know what, when I saw that movie I actually tried to work out in my head how those shells could actually work. It really got on my tits for ages.

They shouldn't have left us clueless.

Perhaps that was the charm of it all... little things like: taco bell becoming king of the world and only peddling little dabs of bean paste.

*reverting question back to original intent*

So, fellow islanders, did you stock up yet
*trying to see which house I need to go to for a roll of tp*

*thanks for the revertion* (btw, I can make up my words cause the higher up you refered to in another thread who makes his own words is related to me :D)

I haven't .. yet ... but I'm going to the store tonight to get soap and things like that .. you just never know. I saw the barge come in today - empty ... very, very, empty ... I think there was only 4 Matson containers on it. :(

Yeah ... the news mentioned that the barge that just came in was the last barge leaving the west coast, and it was barely loaded.

I'm gonna go get more apples today ... some lettuce ... soap ... TP, paper plates ... stuff like that ... you need anything?

I know of at least one driver sitting in Long Beach with several caracsses of beef on his trailer, at 29° F for 7 days. They are allowed 16 days at that temp, which means the Japan trip is most likely kaput because at this point they won't load them. Look for a good beef sale in LA soon.

I think ya'll just bought a break.

Dockworkers will be allowed to load ships with cargo bound for Hawaii, the second state to gain special service, a Honolulu shipping company said Saturday.

Late Friday, Hawaii was exempted by the Pacific Maritime Association from the weeklong port shutdown that has paralyzed the West Coast. The PMA represents more than 80 shipping companies and terminal operators.

Guess that means I won't be able to mail Na, Ku'u, and Miki TP at $5.00 per sheet. ;)
