gun questions

(k, i'm so not-literated in the subject)
and what type of weapons are those? (Assault weapons)
 
Well, the true definition of an assault rifle would basically be a medium sized rifle that has select-fire capability. Meaning you can select between full auto and semi auto. An ak-47 or M-16 would be an assault rifle. But, people over here like to call semi auto version of ak-47s and m-16s assault weapons.
 
I have a Benelli M 3 Sport 90 shotgun that was banned by the last assault weapons bill. No idea why other than it just looks fearsome. It sure doesn't have a flash supressor or a bayonet lug.
 
5. The only thing it has is a well designed switchover from pump to semi auto fire like the SPAS system. But there are 100+ shotguns on the market that do semi auto fire. I guess they banned it because it look black plastic tough and not a piece of polished wood with little duckies and doggies scrawled into it.
