The main one that you'll see on the internet is 5-7-5. There are other rules (see link above), but not set in stone. Beyond that...it's gotta be fun. If poetry ain't fun...you're not doing it right :D

Dancing leaf
Red spinning joyful
lead my heart

My tongue out
some flakes find rest there
