halloween costumes 2008

i wanted to be a mummy-lady, but i don't know if i'll have time/funds to make that happen... good thing i can always fall back on my alice costume!

na, you asking mirlyn that made me want to find out, myself, and it was quite interesting! apparently Tiki was the first man, according to maori myth. otherwise, they're wooden "roughly humanoid" carvings, often used to mark sacred/significant places.
now i know more about them than "plastic 'luau' decorations you buy at the party store!"

If you wanted to be a "mummy" by Halloween, you would have needed to start in January or so. If you start now, you'll only be in week 2 out of 40 by Halloween.

okies, so, i think im gonna be..............Mother Nature
and Scott's gonna be Steve Irwin.

Finalize today though....it's raining here today so plenty of time to work on costumes.

Here's some pics, we decided to do Scott as a Scarecrow instead, he would've been the alive steve irwin, but that was too boring, so i made his costume for him, btw, i made mine too. ENJOY!:eek13:

My son Michael was in the camoflage outfit, ryan (scotts son) was the jailbrid and put on a mask that looked kinda like sadamm (however spell),and My other Matt, was motorcross.lol.

Btw,I was feeling horrible that night, spent the rest of that night in the ER from 230 am till 630 am, here i got an infecton again in my bowel, diverticulitos/diverticulitis, always mix them up, beenin bed with horrible pains for past couple days and pain meds with antibiotics, just starting feeling alittle better last night, got to eat for the first time for dinner last night. Ughhhh, never ends ya know.

I'm sorry you are not well, Mare :(
