gonz, that would only be as reliable as any information that adaptec has divulged. which at this point is nothing. they make nothing like this public. its a hit or miss problem.i could post at first that my system doesnt support it but if i later upgrade the mobo bios, and not updae any place i orginally posted then ive got the wrong info. This should be something that the manufacture should make readily available to builders. specially since its such a highend purchase.

well i ended up spending 1400.00 more today. replacing the motherboard cpu's and ram.
ended up with a supermicro server board.
serverworks chipset. scsi320 on board, ati rage onboard dual nics onboard. the whole ball of wax.
putting dualie xeons @ 2 gighrtz.
and 1 gig of ddr2100. when done should be a screamer.
