have you ever ...?

Once a week, when I go out to lunch. At those times, I prefer it alone, since everybody at the office is what I need a break from.
 
Well, since I'm the one that asked the question ...
I never went to a restaurant, or the movies, for that matter by myself, I'd feel uncomfortable. Maybe it's a Hawaii thing, it's not that common to see diners eating alone ... that's why I posted this yesterday, a man was eating alone at the table next to my husband and I.

If I'm alone, I'll do the takeout thing and eat at home.
 
Generally, if I'm alone and want to eat out I'll hit up a fast-food joint. It's cheaper and less "oh my God he's alone at a nice restaurant"-ish.
 
i ate alone in a few restaurants in scandinavia but in the uk i don't think i have.
 
I'm starting to think that a fast-food restaurant is for you what a restaurant is to me.

You = people that can eat alone in a fast food restaurant.
