Hey, Chirac

He made a statement that if we were to continue on Reagan it needed to be returned to that thread. I was just reminding him it goes where it goes.

First of all I was speaking to you, if Chirac didn't matter, why did the shrub go begging for help out of his mess?

Well, shit, since everything here is off topic, lets play.

Chirac is a waste of breath. Dubya went to the UN to make a point. One that simultaneously says, "see-they're really behind us" and "look, another shut out...for all the good it does".

Last year, during the second gulf war, I was at Prince Sultan Air Base, in Saudi Arabia. There, we had French, British, US, Canadian, and Australian soldiers and airmen. When the war started, the French were unceremoniously tossed out of the Command and Control areas of the base. The French actually wanted to help, and were very emotional about their dis-like of Chirac's decision. Some of them were even in tears as they left. They did, however, remain on base, in the hopes that their government would change it's mind, and allow them to do the job that was never finished in the first war. I never said any of this before, because I didn't think it was my place to do so. Now that this thread has become what it is, I decided to let it be known. Say what you will about whether you believe me, but I speak with authority on this matter.

The reason reagone is being "run down", is due to the fact that the extreme right is looking to capitolize on his death, ie the 10 dollar bill, and turn him into some saint that he wasn't. Time to nip this movement in the bud.
You didn't even read the site you posted to about the $10 bill, obviously. That movement was started long before Reagan's death, and yet you expect us to take you seriously when you can't read your own sources. OTC has lost nothing by your being banned.

Thanks for that, Gato. Brings up a point that a lot of folks (including me) overlooked.
