A cogent point (maybe). The New Yorkers booed the Canadian national anthem the game after one of the Canadian players put one of their stars out of the playoffs with a cheap shot. Rude, but it is after all hockey. The Quebeckers (who aren't even sure they're Canadian) booed the USA anthem for specifically political reasons. Their right I suppose, but I don't have to like it.

Cheap shot of my own: What is the official language in Quebec, anyway? C'est Francais, n'est pas?
 
Yup. Their own version of it, that is. They've had to make up a few words because some words simply didn't exist in french. But then, the americans did the same, so I guess it's all right. But they're a bit lost in the idea that while Quebec only has one official language, they're a member of a country with 2.
