Just wondering.

The hippies that live here are generally, in my opionion, stink. Why don't they bathe? What's with the dreadlocks? What's wrong with using deodorant?

my hippy is very clean and tidy. she does like her flairs, beads and flowers though. if asked, her ideal car would be a vw van

our crusties, on the other hand, are a bunch of unwashed, dreadlocked, levellers loving bastits

Gypos are worse than Hippies. Some hippies can be quite groovy (the 70's, flare-wearing types for example).
