There are fire weapons and white weapons.

Guns, shotguns, machineguns and such are fire weapons. Knives, blades, daggers, bows/arrows, etc. are considered white weapons.

Why do they call them white, is beyond me, but I think that's the official term in spanish to designate such weapons.
 
They call them Blanco?

Wouldn't that also denote a certain non-dangerous thing? I'm sure that's more the intent than to label them a color.

Armas blancas. Yeah, it denotes a not-so-dangerous thing, it is a weapon but not a way too dangerous one.
