Home: To Rent or Own?

I agree with the whole tone of this so far, because I have been there. I have had 7 roomates over the years in a mere 'rental' fashion, forgetting the co-ownership stuff completely as it is insane, and all but one turned out to be deadbeats that left me holding the bag trying to pay for it all in the end.
 
We talked about it last night and decided he's going to put his name on it and I'll rent. :) The more I think about it, the more I'm not sure if I'll stay in KS after college.
