We got the new *smart meter*, our PG&E doubled to ~$350.

Last year, the same bills averaged $240. per month
I kill defenseless trees whereever I can find them (starting in my own yard last summer)...I don't buy - if I'm gonna do that I may as well pay the gas man, it's easier.

Our bill jumped again this month, we getting close to triple of last year at the same time.
We got the smart meters last spring but they didn't start using them until recently and thing have gotten very expensive since.
