I was kinda thinking somewhere between the trauma of birth and "going toward the light." :p

aside from the green eyes Id have to say yer a match for the National Geographic photo of the century!

That was the point of the photo...to show the reality outside of the comfy surroundings of home. Discovery Channel did a follow up on this picture by meeting the girl after so many years. She is married with kids now and as expected she couldn't show her whole face on camera because of her religion. She was wearing a veil.
