I am not alone

The most outspoken, vicious and adament racists I have ever met have all been from New York or New Jersey. Racism isn't just a "Southern thing".

I'm glad I live in an area where racism isn't prevalent. On of the things I hated the most about living near Atlanta was how it was always in your face - on the news, in the paper, everywhere, every day. It's hardly ever mentioned or observed down here.

Well, the south has it's share too, but there're plenty to go around in New York and New Jersey for sure. My take on racism has always been: "Why hate people for the color of their skin when there are so many good reasons to hate them on an individual basis." ;)

Mine remains: "I'm not racist, I hate everybody."

Racism-schmacism.

I hate everybody equally.

Maryville is a bit more...accesible from the outside world than South Greene is.
Having spent a great deal of time in both places recently, I can attest to the accuracy of this statement.
