you finally get your way & not one post about it...wait, I get it...you're pissed because every time Dubya says one thing & DOES it, you get confused

My bet is its something the Republicans did and he wants to shift the blame and say it was the dem's idea..He does this trick often...:p

Asked whether the exclusion of those countries from bidding on construction contracts violates international law, Bush said, "I don't know what you're talking about by international law. I better consult my lawyer."

I like this quote :p

How stupid can it get? After defrauding the government a second time, Haliburton is STILL eligilble to bid for the contract. :hmm:
With their people and machinery already in place they're easily capable of underbidding anyone else.....Its a laughable charade....

Oh good, you've not all lost your minds...well, you have but you know what I mean

I can't but think if this were a democratic administration, you'd be screaming for someone's head.

I'd be screaming for Dubya's, but see, he said he'd handle the situation & he followed through by firing them. He didn't spout rhetoric & do nothing.

I know you have an insatiable hatred of anything Bush (almost equalling the Frogs) & an even greater malevolence towards politics in general but Bush has laid out what he wants to do & followed through, time after time. LEADER is no longer a joke in the White House. After some 40+ years, we have one.

Gonz, the administration assigned these contracts to Haliburton out of hand. They tacitly approved the price gouging and only did something about it when they got caught. Some things are obvious when you think about them for a moment. You are obviously going to approve of anything the administration does, regardless of how deceitful or dishonest it might be. I guess that probably puts you in the majority. As soon as the furor dies down (and it will, as Americans we have the collective attention span of an eight week old puppy) Haliburton will be right back in there fucking the taxpaying public again. Try not to act surprised.
