This is really neat - a digital paintbrush, developed by Kimiko Ryokai and Stefan Marti of M.I.T. Media Lab, that picks up colors, patterns, images, and motion. I can't describe it, take a look at the web page for their description and a very cool video demonstration (links at bottom of their page).

It's ability to "paint" with animated images is fascinating. The blinking eyes on the snail won me over.
