on the 17th, it was my mom's birthday and so she, my dad, and i all went to see the moody blues play a show in baltimore.
we're all fans... so it was awesome.
i'll type up the list of songs they played, later.
but they did play "are you sitting comfortably"... my mom, like, cried cos that's her favorite song by them and she really didnt think they'd play it.
they put on a really good show, too.
it was odd, tho, because there were seven people onstage, and only three (justin hayward, graeme edge, and john lodge) were actual moodies that we all know and love. they had an additional drummer, a keyboardist/guitarist, and these two chicks, one who was also a keyboardist, and one who played guitar as well as flute.
but it was an awesome show, i was very glad i had the opportunity to watch them perform.

i love them!

Bands who were big when the Moody Blues were and are still performing today tend to have a lot of different members from when they first hit the bigtime. Steppenwolf, for example, is still around but only has one original member left, if even that many.
