i think i need a new kwyboard< do you agree?

I don't keep track of my keyboards, especially since more than half of my computers are laptops, and those keyboards are much harder to replace (I would imagine, I've never had to... yet).

BTW, I've seen on some computers that there's a Shift Lock that activates (and deactivates) if you hit the Shift key several times in a row, usually 5.

Wouldn't pressing "caps lock" once do the same thing?
Nope :alienhuh:
Caps Lock will give you a capital ,but it won't give you a " < " if you press "." ,thats how I deduced it was ash's shift key that was fubard.

i think sl was suggesting that if i hit the remaining shift key enough times, it might deactivate the i'm-holding-the-shift-key-all-the-time effect.

it's funny because i have three people in real life offering me replacement keyboards. lol!

hahah, and i do think you all might be curious to know that as soon as i learned how my keyboard functioned after the shiftkey incident, my first thought was, "i HAVE to post this on otc!!!!"

sweet damnation i'm tired.

i pried off all the keys with a popsicle stick.
all except the number 8 on the numberpad.
i will save the keys forevermore.

packrat? nawwww....
