If there was even a shred of truth in it, I could just laugh it off and go on. The basic idea is clever and humorous, but there's so much in there that I consider to be outright lies, that I'm thoroughly provoked by it. I could start a whole thread just on the part about Bush not being elected.

I hope it's understood that I'm not the least bit angry at Vortex. As most of you know, I've been avoiding the Real World forum because I would just rather not argue with people. I get wound up when I discuss politics, because I'm passionate about ideas. Unfortunately, that has a tendency to cause conflict. I've decided that I would just rather come to the board, hang out, shoot the shit and have a good time. So all I'm asking is that politics be kept over there in the Real World, so that I can enjoy myself here in the lunatic asylum.
