Did Dubya try to bluff saddam out of Iraq? Send lots of soldiers & materials & then, with a majority of UN "friends" looking like they're ready to fight, scare the bejeezus (beallah?) out of him, hoping he'd be ready to take solitude elsewhere? After 6 months, what little faith I had in Bush is crumbling rapidly. I think saddam is a threat, but if he's as bad as Jr says, why haven't we bypassed the UN altogether?

No, I'm not losing my resolve to end this charade the UN has been pulling for 12 years but I'm growing very weary of our Commander in Chief with his lack of same.

the UN angle is just a clever joke now....

there will be war, and it'll be soon. Probably shockingly soon....

Gonz, Bush has been bending over backwards to help Tony Blair. If it wasn't for Blair, Bush would have ignored the U.N. completely. Bush is being an *extremely* nice guy, and I think Tony Blair has a lot to thank him for.

But yes, we should have started six months ago and it would have been all over by now.
 
I also think a lot of the current delay is for Blair's benefit. Don't kid yourself, LL, Bush owes Blair a hell of a lot more than the other way around.
 
:D Hes amazing, isn't he? If you lent him $10, He'd say you owed him for allowing you the oppertunity to be compasionate.
